In November 2016, a Charleston City Paper article shared an urgent need of North Charleston's only soup kitchen. Along with nearly $32,000 donated from the community in response to the article, the kitchen's need for equipment was answered by FRS.

On January 9th, Black Magic Cafe's second location opened on James Island, and FRS Charleston was thrilled to be a part of the project. 

Following a restaurant fire in August 2015, Manny's Neighborhood Grille in West Ashley called on FRS Charleston to assist with renovations.
